I love this product. I've tried so many different products to try to tame my winter fly aways that static causes in my hair. This butter takes all the static out of my hair and does not leave it feeling heavy or looking greasy. I highly recommend it if you have coarse, thick hair like mine. It smells good too!
In a cold winter climate = static and frizz!
Not so much with this balm.
I use it with a bamboo wide tooth comb just about every time I touch my hair now. Certainly when I put it up in a bun or in braids. I shampoo my hair about every four days, and this balm doesn't make my hair oily. Life customer here.
This product works great to tame fly away hair! Especially helpful in the dry Minnesota winter where static is an issue! My teenage girls love it too and I'm happy to let them use it because of the safe ingredients.
January 2016 my life took on a change when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. For most of the year, I went through both chemo and radiation treatments that not only killed the cancer in my body, but also remove all the hair from my body. Imagine having no eyebrows, eyelashes and hair while trying to still work in a professional venue. It was a tough time in my life, but it is over and now I am well again. My hair has all grown back in. The thing is that now my hair has grown back in gray, dry, coarse and unmanageable. I read about the Second Life Hair Butter and wondered if it would help me with my hair. Because my cancer was estrogen based, I have to use great care when ever I try something new. Anything that I use now, must be free of any estrogen and I prefer natural ingredients. I do not want to take a chance of a relapse. I have been using the Second Life Hair Butter for about a week now. My hair is softer, easier to manage and not as dry or coarse as it was. It is a marked improvement over what it was. I am still getting used to the product and some days use more than I should, leaving me with flat hair. A little bit of this product goes a long way, but it is a good product and I plan to continue using it.
Like it but have to use sparingly. I ordered it because my scalp is staying dry for some reason this winter.
