Simply Shea Facial Emollient
I"ve had combo/oilyish skin that is drying a bit as I hit late 30's. I was surprised that this moisturizer doesn't leave me greasy. It feels thick and a little heavy (definitely rub it in your palm and warm it up before you try to work it into your facial skin). I usually don't need a moisturizer in the morning and my skin feels nice and supple.
I've been using for awhile after I wash my face with Avocado Soap. A little goes a long way. It's hard to apply, so rub into my hands to warm it up and use an upward movement when applying to my face. Started out using it only at night, but now in the morning as well.
Liked being able to get in bulk for making dyi's. Would like it plain without rose seed oil.
I really like the idea of this product and the combination of ingredients. I find that it does absorb into my skin, though not as fast as other things I've tried. The only issue I've had using it is it's very solidified in a thicker state, and due to it's consistency, it feels like it needs to be warmed a bit to be able to spread it onto my facial skin easily. I don't like tugging at my skin to rub it in. I find using the fresh shea butter by itself is creamier, much easier to apply and absorbs easily. Then using rose hip oil separately works great, applied in either order. I've used the Made on lip balms which are 5 star, but this product I've also used on my lips to moisturize, and it does work well for me for that purpose too.
I got hooked and now my mom is too, even use it on dry toes, etc!
